Food Truck

Try Pie’s Summer Food Truck Project launched in summer of 2020. Regularly making appearances at the Waterloo Urban Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, and pop up shops during the week throughout the Cedar Valley give additional hours to teens while they’re not in school! The Food Truck was also added to Try Pie’s programming to offer students in their third year of work a chance to lead key pieces of its operation. Scheduling their peers, taking inventory of ingredients and supplies, communicating with pop up locations and event coordinators all help the Try Pie teens build life and leadership skills for their futures.
